One of my favorite Psalms is Psalm 103. It has always had such beauty and meaning to me. The Psalm begins like this:
Bless the LORD, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. (NKJV)
Yesterday I returned from a trip to visit family. Long drive…emotionally harrowing…not very much fun. There was one highlight, though…a song, 10,000 Reasons, by Matt Redman. Every time I could catch it on the radio, it brought a transformation to my attitude. It’s all about Bless the LORD, O my soul!
Here’s a video link….have a listen…and I hope it touches your spirit as much as it does mine.
